Did you notice the bleached black and white band that runs through this Correa and Lichen?
That is part of a graph line which runs the length of the scroll and which records the global mean surface temperature rise from 1880 to 2030. This graph is based on National Aeronautical Space Administration (NASA) data. It is interesting to see the peaks and troughs of the temperature increase which relate to key global events.
Meanwhile, this beautiful little Correa, which is a plant endemic to eastern Australia, comes in many colours. Correas are highly attractive to birds for both nectar and nest sites. I know the birds in my garden love the small bushes I have and they are constantly darting in and out on their daily business.
