The Royal Botanic Gardens in Sydney hosted a wonderful exhibition called “On the Edge – species at risk”, in which a variety of artists were invited to create artworks to highlight Australian flora, fauna and habitats that are threatened by climate change, development, introduced species and other environmental issues. The exhibition showcased a diversity of endangered and vulnerable Australian species and ecological communities.
“Biodiversity”, Scroll 1, was presented as one of the activities the exhibition hosted. This photograph shows some of the people who came to view and talk about the issues raised by the scroll while it was in Sydney.
