I receive regular calls from friends asking … “Have you drawn X or Y or Z on the scroll?” If I say, “No”, then quite soon after a car will roll down the driveway with a gift for the scroll. It might be a plant, it might be an insect, it might be a bird. These gifts are always passed over with a little story about where it was found.
I really appreciate these offerings, because to me it means that people are thinking about the scroll and what it means as they are going about their everyday lives.
Here you see a beautiful Kurrajong in flower, a tiny Red Brow Finch, some dried fungi and an Acacia branch covered with lerp!
